Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several distinctions which include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara became famous as an actress when she was a part of 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara as well as Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara was a member of the newly formed Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
