Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time together with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is adamant about her fascination with politics to her experiences as a new mom during the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was in Jordan. She witnessed the impact that it had on the residents of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international impact of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
