Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August 1965, is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her character as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won two Emmy Awards in 2010 and 2007 for her performance as Johnson. Following the seventh season, Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The series ended on August 13th, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated to the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, an investor in venture capital. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was Episcopalian. Sedgwick was of English origins. Sedgwick has publicly declared her Jewish heritage and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
